Elder Freeman's Jail Sermons

From June 29th, 2024 to December 19th, 2024, Elder Freeman was jailed in Stephens County, Georgia relating to multiple instances of speaking against police and publishing church disciplinary documents critical of them. As of this date (2/15/2025) he has not been convicted of any crime, and Elder Freeman's home church has recognized his imprisonment as an act of persecution. While he was confined, Elder Freeman continued to write sermons and mail them back to the church, but the messages were not recorded until after he was released. When these messages were recorded, some minor edits were made and their publication dates were back-dated to the dates on which they were originally intended to be read.
