Courses - New Feature
Today, we're proud to announce the addition of a new feature to the site - East Jordan Courses.
In the past, we've had exegetical Bible messages available on the messages page, and while going through the text one verse at a time is the most thorough way to study the Bible, we recognize that it isn't necessarily the most efficient and effective way to address important topics.
With the introduction of Courses, we're giving our users a way to learn about the Bible topically, and also to learn about important matters that may not be exegetical in nature (things like church history, Biblical languages, Christian worldview, and so forth).
Today, we're officially cutting the ribbon on East Jordan Courses by offering our Soteriology 1 Course, a simple course on salvation to everyone who visits East Jordan Church. If you don't know how to explain Christianity to someone yourself, this course is a great way to learn how to do it.
For East Jordan Church Neighbors who are seeking to become Members, bear in mind that the Soteriology 1 Course will be a requirement for all new members, so make sure that you've signed in before you take the course. If you don't sign in you won't get course credit!
In addition to Soteriology 1 , we've also launched a brief site tutorial, to help those of us who might be less technologically inclined.
We're excited about East Jordan Courses - they have an incredible potential as an avenue for learning all about what we believe and why we believe it.

Worship Uploading - New Feature
"What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn..."
So writes Paul in 1 Corinthians 14, encouraging the brothers to each bring their own gifts to worship. Here at East Jordan, we're always excited to allow our brothers to put their gifts to use, and so we're proud to announce Worship Uploading as a new feature for members.
Members who are logged in can now upload their own worship songs, and if they're approved, they'll be published in our worship collection. Maybe you're a soloist with a new song to sing, or perhaps you have a fledgling praise band looking for exposure. Whatever your style, we're eager to hear what you're doing to worship!
Once you're logged in, head over to the worship page to check it out!- UriahWhitestone
